    Once Cael wins the NCAA's I'll stop saying it. But until then it seems as if what I have said about him is true. This past dual only emphasizes my position. I havent got into the Cael talk after this dual because you all know how I feel about him as a coach. People all over the wrestling world are still saying that Penn St has more talent. I don't know if that is true, but if it is you have to look at the coach.

    Now, I'm not going to fall into this argument again so I won't say anything more about Cael Sandersons coaching...for a while.
    Cut & paste is a computer euphemism for repeating yourself, besides being an action one can perform to copy texts. I think most of us heard you the first time you said it when PSU hired Cael. I get your viewpoint. I don't need to be told in a nearly compulsion like repetition that that is indeed your viewpoint. I am sure you have something else to say....

Neither Alton, Ruth nor Taylor have ever been through the grind and pressure of the National Tournament or even the Big Ten tournament. If just one of these guys falters it will have a huge impact on their overall team score. Expecting them to win or place highly, and also put up a bunch of bonus points, is a lot to ask of freshman. Anything is possible, but I think they will have a much better chance next year after they've all gained experience from the bigger tournaments.
    WOW.... Taylor has never been through a grind. uhmmmm..... 4X Ironman Champ, 4X Ohio State Champ and Beast of the East Champ.

    I'm sure those tournaments are very tough, but nothing like nationals will be.

    Exactly, he's been through A grind but not THE grind. But, it doesn't seem to be so bad if you win all your matches...;}

    Wow Herk, your post says a lot. Here's a response from a Penn State fan-
    Anybody who crowned PSU champs this year is an idiot. In my opinion PSU still has a decent shot at winning the NCAA tourney, but only because I think it is a bit of a down year in wrestling. Minnesota, Iowa State, Ok State and Ohio State don't have killer line-ups like they have had (especially Ohio State). Cornell is really strong at 3-4 weights but only pretty good to average at the others. Iowa is down from last year (though getting Marion back is a HUGE boost). Maybe it is a down year, or maybe it is a sign that there are more and more strong programs (Cornell and Boise this year, for example). I think PSU is 1-2 years from being a real force.

    But since you asked a question Herk, here is one for you and the Iowa fans:
    How can you take Tom Brands?? No doubt he wins, and congrats on that. But the man shows no class what so ever. Want examples?
    1. He runs out on the mat in about half the matches any given night. He does know it is a violation and does realize he is NOT wrestling, right? (Why the refs won't call it is for another time)
    2. 2009 dual at Penn State. He stood across from Troy Sunderland, made pistols out of his hands, and fired across as his #1 ranked team easily beat a mediocre PSU team. I wouldn't let a 3rd grade wrestler do this, much less expect it from a head coach.
    3. He and Zadick spent some time explaining a road rage incident with the State College police when B10's were here. The details aren't public, so we will leave it at that.

    The man has won 70+ straight and is 3x defending NCAA team champs. When will he act like an adult?

    How about that Dan Gable though, he's a heck of a coach, eh?

    This post is ridiculous. You have made one of the most ridiculous statements this forum has read. Brands runs out on the mat almost half the time huh? Well, I have watched a ton of Iowa wrestling and that isnt even close.

    The whole classless thing is so played out, get some new material. This is wrestling, its an intense sport. If you cant handle it watch figure skating.
