Reader looked very good today, but the absolute housing Ruth put on Lewnes is on another level. I would predict a Reader win, most likely, due to experience and mat skills, but Ruth appears to have improved so dramatically from the beginning of the season and every time he goes out there, who knows? He may be unbeatable by NCAA"s.
Jacob Schlottke---Gone too soon, and the world is a little less bright because of it. RIP, brother.
One, two, Evans is coming for you...
Yes!!!
I've said stuff like this in the past but it has been more or less dismissed by lifelong folkstylers. Glad someone else sees the potential difficulties int he scoring.
I'll also repeat what I've said about Lewnes before, based on the admittedly limited video I've watched of him his defense just isn't solid enough. Stands up way too high, lets guys in on his legs easily- can get away with it against most guys but not the best of the best.
i too was wondering where kerber was? sorta the match there. eh?
I was surprised to see how easily Reader's head snap worked on Lewnes to get the right leg. And even when Mack countered, Reader kept at it & got him down with a leg sweep. I thought Lewnes would have bounced a little more or thrown a whizzer in or fought hands or something. Reader must have watched film from the Scuffle.
