Announcers just called Kusar "Nemec" for the first 1:30 of the match. Nice preparation guys.
Not gonna lie. As a fan, it is painful watching tOSU right now.
Just finished watching the dual. A loss was expected. I was actually pretty pleased with their performance.
Kusar looked good at 157. I'm not sure why he stopped wrestling after the first period; he typically doesn't do that and, as far as gassing goes, he didn't seem to be sucking wind terribly bad. With that said I couldn't help but notice how Brandon Zeerip didn't even look like he was sweating or even mid match. His expression was emotionless as if he was just looking through some papers or something. Impressive and a bit strange.
Still disappointed Heflin didn't take many shots (I think he took one and that was out of bounds with no chance of scoring), but he dug out the win.
Even though he didn't guess any bonus points, good job by Russ picking all the right winners.
