Thread: Iowa vs Northwestern

St. John gets two third period TD's and knocks off Welch 4-2. Despite the win, his unwillingness to go underneath (took neutral in the third) doesn't really bode well for a match up against David Taylor in two days.

    18-3 Iowa at the break.

I've got to be up absurdly early tomorrow, so if someone is able to handle posting results the rest of the way your work will be appreciated.

Little Lofthouse comes on strong in the third and gets an 18-7 major.

Gambrall grabs a workmanlike but dominant decision. Iowa forfeits at 197. Rasing wrestling like a different guy the last two matches, grabs a 10-4 decision. Lots of points for the big man.

He's a pretty stout dude, maybe 197 is more of a cut than we think and they're just only having him make weight once.

Welch got outscrambled by DSJ. Whoda thunk it?

Welch has improved absolutely none in 3 years it would seem.

Youre a horrible "Hawkeye fan". Did it cross your mind that maybe St. John is better than you give him credit for. Yeah, he had a bad tournament at Midlands but other than that he's done pretty well.

Also, not many people live up to the kind of hype that Welch was getting right out of high school.
