I don't think they let you into VT unless you lose random matches like this a few times a year. VT kids are just a bit flakey it seems.

Not trying to take anything away from Mock, but Jesse should beat him.(this year)
To avoid criticism say nothing, do nothing, be nothing.

I remember seeing C.D Mock wrestle in the Dapper Dan many years ago, so Mock definitely has a good bloodline.

Corey is the son of the UNC Coach C.D. Mock who was a well known PA HS wrestler from Council Rock South. C.D. was one of a string of PA kids who left for the South in the 80s, (specifically UNC) like State College's Rob Koll. So it actually comes as no surprise to PA wrestling fans that Corey is a chip of the old block.

UNC's definitely had their share of glory days. They were ranked as high as top 5 in the nation in the late 80's I think, back when Rob Koll was there. Apparently they've already got seven of the top 100 recruits in the nation coming to their school next year...maybe they're building up for another run.
    Am I cool now?

CD is a GREAT guy and deserves a great program-he has so many freshman wrestling it is almost comical-Stabile-after a year and 1/2 absence-hurt his arm against Dake and the UN surgeons are clueless as towhat it is-supposedly Stabile's arm is swollen to the ''size of 3 baseball bats''-Mock is hoping he can recover this season as surgery will end this season for Nick. For havig a busted arm he wrestled Dake tough 5-7 L-then lost to Sakaguchi in SV 2-4. Bennet at 97 will be a good one -he already is.
UNC will be a lot better next year. Mock is so desperate he wrestled Rappo at 149 yesterday. IF UNC can turn around they have the right guy at the helm .

Actually 1982 is the year Carolina finished 5th at NCAAs. That was CD's senior year when he became Carolina's first national champion.

Rob Koll was there after that, from 84-88, when he became the 2nd NCAA champ.

Just to, you know, insert some facts
