    125: Pataky wbd Zannetta 3-0
Anthony won in an upset last year, don't expect that to happen again especially after Brad's pin over #9 Bedelyon last week. Have to admire the guts Brad is displaying wrestling with his knee the way it is. He has to wear that brace all the time until he gets his post-season surgery.

    133: Long wbm Mack 7-0
I expect Long to really start cranking now.

    141: Alton lbd Nauman 7-3
We wanted to see this @ the NLO but Stoylemeyer basically no showed most of his squad. I think the upperclassman gets Andrew this time but if there is ever a rematch don't count on the same result. I hope that the 2 losses to Russell have taught Alton something. I hope I am wrong.

    149: Molinaro wbf Johnson 13-3
Yea I am calling it. I know Dane is a tough kid from da Burgh but I think Frank is really one a mission especially after that loss to Dake: DOMINATE.

    157: Taylor wbtf Tasser 18-3
This should be over by the middle of the 2nd period. He actually might get the fall.

    165: Kemerer wbd Counterman 21-3
Jake back on track, with hopefully any health issues behind him.

174: Ruth wbm Headlee 25-3 CLINCHES THE DUAL
Earlier in the year I would have thought that this would have been one of the marquee, (Marquis VAIS is a PERSON :P) match ups. To quote Inspector Clousseau "Not anymore."

    184: Wright wbd Thomusseit 28-3
Solid win over a tough Ohio kid. Welcome back Quentin.

    197: Ruggear lbm Thomusseit 28-7
Zach is proven to be one of the top 97s in the country right now. Good experience for Nick. Hope he doesn't wrestle to avoid the fall or tech but at this point the match should be over.

    285: Wade wbd Tomei 31-7
Yea I think that Cam can do this one. It would be a big confidence booster & step up to finally start beating guys in the top 10.

Pataky getting a desperation pin over Bedelyon means he should beat Zanetta? I fail to see the correlation.I know the mixer is his move.(he has to use it frequently which would suggest he's losing quite often)

I'm not saying I expect Zanetta to win, just dont understand that reasoning per se.
To avoid criticism say nothing, do nothing, be nothing.

Did you see the Pataky-Bedelyon match? I did not, but the reports I saw were that the score was tied 2-2, and Bedelyon had significant riding time, when Pataky pinned him. So, I don't see the "desperation" of the situation.

I saw the match-and Bed did everything but kill Pataky-score should have been 7-2 as Bedolyn was not awarded a TD when he should have had TD2NF3-I could care less who won the match as I was just an interested observer -Bed was in danger 1x-He controlled the entire match.
This is very similar to the Strayer/Baker match. Strayer had been warned and penalized about staying off Bakers knee-yet he went right back to it and cripled the kid out of the NCAA's-yet the Penn State paper reads the next day''Strayer jobbed out of nationals''

Like I said, Anthony Zanetta is a solid wrestler and he'll give Pataky all he can handle. I see Anthony pulling this one out. I am a bit biased, having met the zannetta family at states through a connection, VERY nice family and Anthony is a great kid. I'll probably be the only Penn State fan routing for Anthony on Friday night. Is any one else attending the match?

r.payton I won't say Strayer got jobbed but I have been involved in and followed wrestling for over 40 yrs and seen many wrestlers do the same thing with no call. I have watched the match over and over and it did not look that bad .

    Match breakdown
125: Senior Brad Pataky (Clearfield, Pa.) once again got the call at 125 for Penn State to battle No. 10 Nic Bedelyon of Kent State. Bedelyon got in on a single leg right away and took an early 2-0 lead with a takedown out of the gates. The tenth-ranked Flash grappler then maintained control of Pataky for nearly two minutes but Pataky worked his way into a near pin from the bottom. But a stalemate was called while Pataky was working for the reversal or pin and Bedelyon maintained his 2-0 lead with under a minute left in the period. Pataky escaped at the :30 mark to cut the lead to 2-1 but Bedelyon got in deep on another single leg. Pataky fought off the move for the final :18 to keep the score close at the buzzer. Down 2-1, Pataky chose down to start the second stanza (Bedelyon had over 2:00 in riding time). Pataky escaped at the 1:29 mark to tie the bout at 2-2 with Bedelyon having 2:38 in time. Pataky thrilled the Penn State faithful a minute in, hitting a mixer, catching Bedelyon and turning him to his back for a pin at the 4:02 mark. Some how this should have been 7-2 and relates to Jake Strayer
