We aren't doing a specific blog for VA duals but I'll be covering the PSU vs Michigan match in our clash liveblog if people want to stop by and chat

Penn State leads 7-3 after the first three bouts in the final.

Pataky won 8-2 after nearly injury defaulting due to getting his knee wrenched.

Lehigh got jobbed ... Obviously they win the dual with any normal outcome in the Hatchett "knock-yourself-out" match, BUT ... Michigan stalls at every weight, they stall by design ... they tried it in the first time they wrestled back in November as well. They also try to cheat all starts and hand positions. I just don't understand why the refs continually allow them to get away with it ... like Iowa getting away with the bullying tactics after every whistle. You know ... non-wrestling stuff. It's like it is both their M.O.'s and it is just a given that the refs will allow it to continue ... even though other teams would get dinged for such behaviour. Back to the dual itself.

Before I continue ... Obviously we, as wrestlers, need to never allow the ref to decide the match.

On top of the stalling ... either Napoli/Grajales or Tanen/Heinz were in a scramble when the LU wrestler popped his head out (clearly advancing his position and the action) but seconds later the ref calls stalemate and the LU coaches, and anyone watching, erupts in protest. It was ridiculous! Then the 197 bout between Kennedy and Biondo ... the Michigan stalling "move" reaches epidemic proportions, but the non-stall call in the second t.b. with Biondo clinging only to the ankle of Kennedy for what seemed like 10-15 seconds wtih no stall call ... and then instead a stall-mate ... what ... how on earth is that a stall-mate? They didn't have each others ankles ... it was stalling, and had been for some time. Whatever ... move on ... hopefully the underwhelming Hatchett will recover fast and be back soon ... the team will bounce back and take third over Kent State and PSU will destroy Michigan w/o Quentin Wright.

I think BRAD is BACK! Martelotti did an outstanding job in his stead however!
