Did Alton get screwed b/c the ref missed Russell's handlock?

Flo called that, but the action was so quick it's not documented in the vid when you go frame by frame. I wouldn't put much emphasis on what he thought he saw. Maybe it did, maybe it didn't.

Potential Alton v Russell II this weekend in VA. UMich will need to pull an upset in the semi (if they make it that far).
Life's not the breaths you take, the breathing in and out that gets you through the day ain't what it's all about. It's the moments that take your breath away.

Right. I went frame by frame and couldn't see any locked hands. I personally don't think Russell did, and I'm not sure how the flo guy could have seen it while recording, but maybe the hands touched there for a second somewhere. I don't think locked hands would have been a good call by the ref, just not an obvious lock there. NO POINTS!

That is hard to believe. Grajales has really struggled at 49, although he is pretty undersized.

From what I have seen it's not so much the size, as much as his conditioning- he seems to be catastrophically gassing after strong starts. He was killing the Airforce kid at the scuffle until he basically died.

Grajales might be trying to carry too much weight right now for 149 and between that and the strength disadvantage he probably has, his gas tank is hurting.
