What's great about this match is that Howe still looks excellent and like a beast. Burroughs just moreso. It really showcases both of them.

I agree. Good match by both guys... Burroughs is just unbelievably fast. His hard, clean shots will translate well to freestyle as well. It might be a bit early to say this, but he looks like he has legitimate world champion hopes if he puts his mind to it.

Great work on top through out the match by Burroughs to shorten things up and not let Howe wear him down on the feet, his top game has gotten MUCH better than it was two years ago when he was usually not interested to be there at all.

While I'm sure this is much easier said than done, Howe has to figure out a way to get to his offense with more effectiveness from the feet, not going to beat Burroughs when you only get to his legs one time.

I thought that Burroughs was essentially a TD artist but his riding skills are superb. I am shocked at the way he rode AH. Great match. AH may or may not win one of the 2 expected matches remaining(MSN in January and NCAAs), but he is going to have to adjust his strategy to do so.

Burroughs' growth, both technically and physically, as a wrestler has been phenomenal.

Can't really add anything that hasn't already been said. The score was about what I thought it would be but I did not envision the tough riding by Burroughs. If anything, I thought Howe would be the dominant top wrestler but this was not the case. I also thought that there would be no discernible differences in strength but surprisingly Burroughs just looked more powerful to me.

The only way Howe will ever beat this guy is by getting out from bottom and mauling the dog$hit out of him at close range on the feet. He also is going to need to put together a better ride. I thought Howe's intensity was good in this match but he had no answers for the speed and strength Burroughs threw at him. This said, I don't see him beating him in any rematches but maybe he can find that last upper gear and pull it out.

I too agree that Burroughs' neutral game will do very well at the next level, just awesome speed and strength, and actually nothing real fancy technique-wise, just clean HARD stuff that is very hard to anticipate and even harder to stop once it is in motion. This is the answer to Russian style wresting.
