Makes perfect sense to me-he loked like hell long before DT dismantled him -
I wish Young and kinser would go up

I would agree he did not look like the wrestler I have seen in the past . I would also say DT played a big part in that. I am not trying to be hateful in saying this but that was the worst OSU team I ever saw. I was really stunned by their lack of effort they looked very tired and out of shape.

Best to realize you made a mistake and correct it now than have it go on all year.

I think the move was originally made because he felt he had a legitimate shot to be a Nat Champ at 157 with no real clear cut favorite preseason and not at 165 with Howe/Burroughs. I applaud the effort, hope he does well at 165.

    This.

Cutting lots of weight to win a title is miserable enough. Cutting lots of weight to wrestle poorly is just unnecessary.

Just read what Ryan said about the weight cut and realized my post just copied his words. Next time I need to read the article first.

    Thank you Captain Obvious!

He is right in the thick of the aa race now at 65. 65 has been very lackluster and is downright weak other than the two complete studs at the top. If he's close to his old form he should get over the hump and on the podium.

    Feel for the guy though.
