MOST IMPROVED-DesRoches -Cal Poly 18-1 with 11 falls -Perry is a miracle worker -took a sub.500 kid 2 years ago and turned him into a 23-10 animal last year and now is 18-1-granted the one tough guy he wrestled beat his butt good 17-7 KERBER-but winning 18 matches out of 19 is impressive at any level-cut down from 74 to 65 and is feasting on west coast guys -see what happens at Reno--

Honorable mention: Dan Rinaldi. Went from backup to solid contender in one yr.
I pictured you as that guy Gaylord in Showboat, passing up taxis to walk because he's broke and playing it off as if it's the doctor's advice. - Clmetal

I'll withstand the heat for this one. Bryan Pearsall, Penn State 133. He was the PSU mat rag at 3-23 last year, 0-2 at B10s.

He's 9-4 so far. He took out Joe Langel, Rutgers (then #17), 7-4 and last weekend he reversed a 12-3 loss in 09 winning 9-4 over No. 10 Ian Paddock, Ohio State.
Life's not the breaths you take, the breathing in and out that gets you through the day ain't what it's all about. It's the moments that take your breath away.

Hands down David Taylor of Penn State. Starts off last year getting manhandled by Cyler Sanderson at the their team scrimmage. See link below for refresher:

Now, some say 3rd in the nation (behind Hall and Bubba) and just recently handling almost All-American Sponseller and Dong.......

I'd say it's hard to argue against DT. I definitely don't think Meredith, I can't even understand why he'd be brought up to be honest. I actually think someone else that's improved a ton is Robles (kinda in the same category as Oliver, where they didn't "have much room to improve" to start). He is much better on his feet this year and is even deadlier w his tilts, even vs top ranked guys (Sanders, Patterson, etc)
"Now class, I'd like for you to transition from downward dog....straight to FULL BRING!!!"

I can't really count a redshirting DT for this award, I like Robles much better so far. Or how about BJ Futrell of Illinois? I knew when he gained weight and filled out his weight class he'd turn some heads, which he has...
