Hey...he went from 48th in last year's final Dual Impact Index into (presently) the Intermat top 20. That's something to write home about.

I was thinking David Taylor. Owned by Sanderson last year. Dong beat Sanderson. This year Taylor pwns Dong.
I wish I could kick Matt Dragon in the balls. In his Dragonballz.

    Andrew Sorenson

I know I'm a huge homer, but I think this is still a legit pick. Goes from decent line-up filler going 2 and out at the NCAAs last season to a borderline top 10 guy this season...we'll see how he does in the next month or so though. Tough road ahead at 165 with MN, OU, OSU, and Cornell all coming in a row.

Sorenson impressed me a lot too watching him in matches so far this year. Much improved at getting to and executing his own offense.

Jarrod Patterson. Most people barely had him in the round of 12 during the preseason, but he has established himself within the top 5 of 125. Robles is the only one that can beat him. BJ Futrell is very much improved. Ryan Mango. JO is looking ridicluous. Jon Morrison has improved tremedously since last season. He's already way better than Notte. Ben Apland? Erich Schmidtke? PJ Gillespie?

Disagree strongly on the bolded parts. Robles is the only one who HAS beaten him, but he's also the only proven top 5 guy Patterson has faced.
Jacob Schlottke---Gone too soon, and the world is a little less bright because of it. RIP, brother.

One, two, Evans is coming for you...

Tyler Caldwell. I know he AA'd last year, but he was pretty much the whipping boy of the B12 165lbers last year losing to Toal, Marable, Reader 3X including a pin & a tech, and Meade 3X. He has definitely carried over his confidence from NCAA's turning into one of the top 74 lbers with wins over Blanton, Covington, and Benefiel.

Well Stieber and Morrison were both top 5 until Patterson beat them, that's got to count for something, doesn't it?
