I agree with you both. Minnesota has the best team in recent memory and even with an injury or two should be able to easily win NCAA's.

Juat poking fun at Gopher fans, who were moaning about 197 last year.

Max Dean won't place at the Big 10s this year, MARK MY WORD!!!
I will smash your face into a car windshield and then take your mother, Dorothy Mantooth, out to a nice seafood dinner and never call her again!

Tell me about it, this morning, I woke up and I shit a squirrel, but what I can't get is the damn thing is still alive. So now, I've got a shit covered squirrel running around my office and I don't know what to name it.

I agree....BTW it's difficult to place when someone takes your spot on the team

A couple of things from a buckeye perspective

125 - For some reason I have a feeling that Nikko Triggas will make some noise this year for the buckeyes. I don't think he has much for the top three, but a 5th or 6th finish at bigtens is what I'm hoping for.

133 - Johnny has TJ Enright for the Bucks. I'm expecting Reece Humphrey to be the buckeye's representative at that weight by the end of the season. TJ's solid when he's healthy, but his knees just seem to constantly be hurting, which is why I'm going with Humphrey. But until I see how much he's improved in his red-shirt year, I'd say 5th is about right.

157 - Johnny has Ryan Needle....he's no longer a buckeye. It'll probably be Jason Johnstone. However, the word on the local boards is that Nemec or Sponseller might cut down to challenge for the spot.

165 - From what I'm hearing it'll probably end up being Sponseller here and the kid is a stud. No one will challenge Perry, but Colt could end up in the top 4 here.

Oh, and I think Johnny is the only person that isn't a buckeye that has picked Palmer to finish ahead of Metcalf. Not a bad pick in my book, but then I'm a Palmer fan.

If I were a betting man though....I'd switch Palmer's and Jaggers' placements.

    Gophers Go:
    125 Ness 1
    133 Reiter 2
    141 Manny 3
    149 DS 1
    157 CP 2
    165 Glasser 4
    174 Dretsch 2
    184 Kish 1
    197 Eidensheink 6
    Hwt Nord/Berhow 5th

Even that is assuming that somene like Mack, Manny, CP or Dretsch couldn't pull off an upset and win Big Tens like Mack and CP have already done.

I don't think its a big stretch to get where Jensens is with his picks. Alot of good things have to happen but I think I have almost a worst case scenario put together here and its still a Big Ten romp if that happens.

Which dark horses do you see coming from that lineup?

"7. Ryan Needle Senior Ohio State"

A blast from the past. After one season on TOSU bench (or maybe redshirted), I think he went to a PA, somewhere.

At OSU the wrestle-off for 157 will be between Sean Nemec and Jason Johnstone. If Nemec wins, no red-shirt. He starts. And qualifies for the NCAAs, IMO, provided the surgery really was as successful as we are hearing.
