Could have used Reader's points in Fantasy. We weren't counting the Harold (!) Nichols though.

It was a good tournament. Long looked very technical. He can def score some points.

McDonough (Iowa 133) placed third beating Laramie Scheafer of ISU twice on the day.

At 149 I was hoping for a Mitch Mueller vs Albert White final, but white lost in the quarters and then forfieted the next match.

Grant Gambrall looked very good. He is hard to score on and makes his shots count. He was seeded fourth and ended up getting fourth.

Jerome Ward got sixth. Looked strong but slow.

Varner has used up all of his pins and bonus points for the season. Looks like it will be 3-2 matches for him the rest of the year.

Big Z won HWT and Eric Thompson dnp.

I know he is NAIA but Brian Oeschner took 2nd at ISU and beat teammate NAIA Champ Ryan Moyer again. Brian beat Moyer (Who has beaten some good D-I wrestlers) 8-2 in the wrestleoffs. Oeschner is only a freshman and can only get better.

Looks like from the brackets that Thompson placed 4th.

It should be noted that Ward forefitted his semi final match and all his wrestlebacks...
