Yesterday at the Bearcat Open. Thats a result that I'm glad to see as I've always liked O'Connor. Looks like the move up is going to treat him pretty well.

Other stuff that happened...

Nickerson had two quick pins but then banged something up. His prospective back up Frank Perrelli won the weight beating Steve Mytych in one of the earlier rounds.

Grey won 141 but had some close matches along the way. He beat Melde 8-3 in the final.

At 149 Donnie Vinson knocked off Roberts who was seeded first and then smoked Walter Peppelman in the final 14-1

Leen beat Winston 5-0 in the semi's en route to the final against JPO, Winston wound up taking 3rd.

I liked the showing by Winston. It will be interesting to see if he can rebound from this loss to catch Leen later in the year. I'll give the nod to the elder.

I did not stay for the finals yesterday but that was a big win for JP, he was wrestling really well.

Not sure I agree with the ranking they gave JP or Jordan this week. JP moved up one spot and Leen was dropped four spots. What do the rest of you think?
