I can't put into words how much I personally, and Mizzou as a whole, will miss Horton this year. Of course, he's a great coach, but good Lord, he is a riot. I'll miss having him at the social!
By the way, the most interesting thing I heard the head coach say (what's his name?), when going through all of the components that his team has that will help him win: "time to train." What an interesting challenge for service academy coaches! At your average school, athletes only have one other time commitment than their sport-going to class, and that is what, 3,4 hours a day, tops? Of course, there is studying time, but that can be worked around practices. J. Rob, Cael, or
Brian Smith can usually run their practices when they want, and for how long they want. At the service academies, that time is chosen for you, and the athletes have more than the match on their mind. Maybe I'm not saying anything that hasn't already been said, but the service academy wrestlers amaze me every time they step foot on the mat.
