i have the feeling that either nord or berhow is going to establish himself this year and then someone is going to leave...i think its great that they are civil and even friends in the wrestling room but they are both too talented to have one of them riding the pine for four years...

this will leave an opening for mr. disney after he is a sophomore...

i haven't heard anything about this kid but anyone named after one of my favorite literary characters can't be all that bad (atticus)

name the book?

Goferphan,

RE Nord and Berhow -- do you have any inside info (or gossip or gut feeling) about which guy will be the starter? Or will it be a weekly wrestle-off situation?

I had the pleasure of interviewing both men (along with their HS coaches) and both seem like first-class guys in terms of talent and attitude. It's a shame that they are vying for the same job.

i like nord but i like him a little bit heavier...the only reason that i am leaning towards him is his freestyle experience, his two state titles and his success in football...i like his competitiveness and to an extent, his lineage...although in that order...i don't think what his father did is that important but it speaks to his athletic ability and his mental toughness as his relationship with his father was not that good according to you articles...

all of that being said, berhow seems to continually improve...they are both too light i think to have great success early...i wish that one of them could make the cut to 197 but that ain't gonna happen now...the good thing is that they are pushing each other in the wrestling room every day and that has to help them both...
