    Rankings
RevWrestling.com has released updated college rankings. Defending NCAA champion J Jaggers of Ohio State (pictured) sits atop the rankings at 141 pounds. Fellow Buckeye NCAA champion Mike Pucillo, who won the 184-pound title in 2008, will be challenged this season by 2007 NCAA champion Jake Herbert of Northwestern, who is back after taking an Olympic redshirt last season (Photo/Tech-Fall.com).

Nickerson over Escobedo?!?! Wow. Herbert over Pucillo I understand, because Herbert is a NCAA champ in his own right, but Nickerson over Escobedo? I don't think that's being fair to Escobedo's accomplishments. Other then that though, I really liked them, and I always like Rev's theb est anyways because I like the format.

Nickerson has multiple victories over Escobedo, while Escobedo has never beat Nickerson. so the rankingis not unreasonable

Nickerson and Esco have wrestled twice, both at the 07 tournament.

Nickerson beat him tight both times, I think one was 2-0, and the other was 3-0.

And Escobedo is a returning NCAA champ. Escobedo has obviously improved, and while it's possible that nickerson has as well, we certainly don't know that. I think as returning NCAA champion, Escobedo deserves his ranking at the top. Herbert is a returning champ as well, so I can see him being ranked over Pucillo, but Nickerson has yet to get it done at the big show, and Esco has.

He also doesn't show DS wrestling this year and has Safratowich ranked at 157 and Glasser ranked at 165. Does he know for certain something that we don't know in regards to DS? From a team standpoint, I like the idea of DS sitting out this year and coming back next year to a more solidified line-up but I hadn't heard anything official per se at this point.

He REALLY hates my Fantasy Team as well. Almost every guy I drafted is lower in his rankings then over at Intermat. I think I will track these as I go to see how they end up.

Kind of have to agree wtih Zapp on this in regards to Rev putting Nickerson over Escobedo. That being said, it is early and it will all work it self out in the wash.
