Week 5:
The fourth week of the season was pretty slow. There was one event, the Northeast Duals, that hosted five or six teams, but other than that, the pickings were slim. As if wrestlers were actually humans and not just animated figurines for my entertainment, most coaches gave their teams Thanksgiving weekend off. Fine. Who wants to watch wrestling on Thanksgiving weekend anyway?

Not all coaches showed this weakness. Last week (in an article that I finished way too late to be relevant), I mentioned that Zach Toal was to walk a formidable gauntlet. He did so with moderate success. He beat Bubby Graham (American) and #13 Brandon Hatchett (Lehigh), but was pinned by #8 Scott Winston (Rutgers) and lost 8-2 to #4 Josh Asper (Maryland).
