Overall awesome performance by Cam Wade. I'm glad he found his offense. Three techs at heavyweight is extremely uncommon no matter what the field is. He faced no great heavies, but Delaney and David Wade are both fringe-rankable guys.

Nittany Lion Open - Live Blog Live Blogging

Du started this on a last second whim & hardly told anyone about it. You can go read the REPLAY. Interesting to note that Sheptock blew out his knee & QW hurt his shoulder.

Tim from Blue & White Illustrated posted:

...from my seat Quentin Wright's injury looked quite serious.

I didn't see the actual toss because Ed Ruth's 174-pound final was happening simultaneously, but when I looked over Wright's feet were in the air. He landed quite hard on his left shoulder with his neck hitting the mat awkwardly. After Scheidel got off Wright, Wright laid there. His entire body was squirming in pain, except for the left shoulder. His shoulder remained motionless, like it was glued to the mat. That is just never a good sign.

Once the training staff got him standing, his arm kind of dangled to the point where it looked difficult for him to even hold the arm above his waist.

Hopefully, Sanderson will have answers about Wright's injury at Tuesday's practice, but until then it remains speculation.
