Default Pitt vs. American: Nauman, Flores Upset

Nauman loses to a guy I've never heard of.

Tomei beats Flores. Heavyweight is very interesting.

I hadn't heard of Mariachi either, but he also took Schavrien to tiebreakers so it looks like he's gonna be pretty tough.

Other than Rey, heavy is definitely starting to resemble quite the cluster.

Tomei beating Flores doesn't surprise me (although it seemed like coming into the year I was higher on Tomei than pretty much everywhere else), but it just adds to the A beat B who beat C dynamic that seems to be shaping up there.

Yeah Tomei beating Flores isn't a big surprise. I didn't think Flores would be very good coming into the season, but I felt like it's still an upset since Flores is ranked significantly higher and he had just beaten Trice and Bradley.

Rey keeps winning, but eventually you're going to drop one of those close matches I just hope it's not at NCAA's.

He's got an uncanny ability as a heavyweight to reverse people from the bottom rather than just getting away, which obviously gives him an advantage in the low scoring snooze fests that the better guys at this weight like to have with one another.

Mariacher is ranked #2 in EIWA and should be #1 after today

Except for the whole thing where he's lost to two guys in his conference already this year.(Kemerer, Thome)
