    4-3 today.

Hamlin wrestled pretty much all the top guys last year tough but really didn't beat any of them, but he picks up a marquee win here today.

Wright looked very one dimensional with his offense for some reason. He's got good shots but all he did here was look for a throw.

After watching the match in person, my take is Q gave him too much respect and was is not in "prime" condition yet. No were near the energy that propelled him to quality wins over Alton Lucas, Anceravage, Borschal and Cannon among others his freshman year. I hope this lights a fire under Q.... s freshman year. There is still plenty of time to "Wright" the ship!!

When Wright had Mark Perry in his corner, he was a great wrestler.

Lack of quality coaching probably was the largest contributing factor to this loss.

Mark Perry was certainly a neutral juggernaut...

ha. He certainly did take alot of bad shots from way too far away, but I don't think it has any effect on his nice little coaching resume he's putting together. He may turn out to be a better coach than he was a wrestler, which would be saying something.

I was told by people who were there that Varner & Sanderson were not happy with him or Ortega after the match. Like OBVIOUS glares of displeasure. I heard the guys on Flo say that they heard Q was getting sick before the match. I have tried to get that confirmed with people in SC, but to no avail.

I think Q just thought that he could beat the guy & just didn't fully apply himself until he realized that he was about to lose & by then Hamlin just needed to fend him off & avoid the stall calls. I don't think Q wrestled HIS match the way he did vs Bloomy on Friday nor the way DT & AA did in both matches. AA already leads the team with 12 points btw.

Also look for Ruggear to get another shot @ 97. Ortega has scored ZERO offensive points so far.

I sincerely hope that Q didn't think he'd able to just "beat" Hamlin and thusly didn't apply himself. He could have a very long season ahead of him.
