Giesen beats Marcus Shrewsbury 13-8, makes the team score 7-3 Stanford.

Giesen looked pretty good up a weight. Looked like a nice sized 197 and generally moved well.

Kind of nose dove on some of his shots, but he made most of them work for him.

Gassed a little at the end too.

Precin and Mango scoreless after the first period. Mango did his best to stay out in space assume because he didn't want to get dumped.

Precin wins 5-4. Mango lead 3-2 after a reversal early in the third period but gassed and gave up the winning TD after a Precin escape.

Kaleb Friedley going 141 for Northwestern this year as a true freshman, he majors Jordan Grey 11-0 and in doing so gets Northwestern back into the dual with Nadhir and Welch coming up. Killed Grey with the same claw tilt that Askren used a lot last year at NCAA's.

    13-10 Stanford

Never heard of Friedley before this match, but boy is he a hammer on top.

Nadhir gets after it in the third period picking up four TD's and gets the win 14-4 over Timmy Boone.

That gives Northwestern a 14-13 team lead going into 157 where I'm sure they'll be looking for bonus from Welch to try and put this away.
