Hi, I've got a strange question maybe but I would like to ask about a wrestling match between Cain Velasquez and Brock Lesnar. How it would look like when they would battle same year?

I predict a stoppage in the first round with Velasquez getting his arm raised.

In my opinion,
Lesnar in college would've beaten Velasquez in college, in a folkstyle wrestling match. Lesnar's double leg was just incredible. The UFC match was different because Velasquez was the better striker, which wouldn't come into play in a wrestling match. I also think Velasquez's wrestling has improved since college. Lesnar was at a higher level in college than Velasquez was.
what makes you think that Lesnar would beat Cain?
Wasn't cain fighting better wrestlers in his career?
and would not velasquez defend that double leg better as he was quicker (was he?) and was wrestling bigger guys almost all his college career?
I just need to get as much info about those two guys from their College years.
I'd take Lesnar in a wrestling match at the peak of their wrestling careers.

One, two, Evans is coming for you...
For the record, Brock lost two matches in college, one to Neal in the 99 Finals, and one to Wes Hand of Iowa in 2000. That said, I think the level of competition was about the same.
Brock was a two time finalist, and one time Div 1 champion, and one time Jr. College Champion, while Cain was a two time all-american, finishing 4th and 5th. Interstingly enough, Cain's losses in both NCAA Tournaments were to the same guys, Konrad in the championship Bracket, and Wagner in the wrestleback.
So well to Cain's credit he lost to a better wrestler then Brock was - saying that about Konrad.
I'm wondering because accomplishments are not everything right?
Next question - how about now? Are you looking at their careers now? And how to measure their wrestling skills now?
I don't know how this adds up to much. Yeah Konrad was great, but Brock's loss to Stephen Neal was against an incredible opponent. Heck, I can go out and lose to the best heavyweight in the world, but that doesn't really say I'm better than anyone.
I haven't been paying attention long enough to have watched Lesnar, and there's no way to know for sure who was better, but both overall record and NCAA accomplishments seem to point to him as the better collegiate wrestler.
