    Just an opinion...
if he wins again that will certainly prove me wrong.
@ this point, just like Kennedy.

Winning a title doesn't guarantee anything else after that.
Ask Gomez & Schlatter. Or even Gable.

I tend to agree about Kennedy, I like him to win this weight.(though I'd bet not a dime on it) Still doesn't mean that Thorn wasn't impressive albeit inconsistent.

As much as I love Thorn, I'm going with Kellen Russell until given a good reason not to.

Those weights that he won as a freshman and a sophomore were nasty.

I am not trying to dog the kid, (Thorn) but it just reminded me a bit of things we've seen b4 in sports & competition where a player or team peaks & then comes back down to earth.

He is 0-2 vs Russell, 0-1 vs Bailey, 0-1 vs Lindsey, 1-0 vs Diaz & 1-0 vs Novachkov, 0-2 vs Parks, 1-2 vs Drouin, 1-1 vs Archuleta, 2-0 vs Schavrien, 0-1 vs Jantzen, 2-0 vs Nacita, 1-0 vs Schmitt, 1-0 vs Goeres.

That's 2-4 vs the current top 10 (33% win rate) & 10-10 vs the current top 20 (50%). If he improves upon that good 4 him, (only if he isn't on your team Vais!) He will have his work cut out for himself if he wants to AA again.

He's been a seeded wrestler at NCAA's the past two years.

How long is this "peak" going to last before he "comes back down to earth?"

Cam Simaz in a breakout year wins the Hodge...ok it's a stretch but he does score a ton of bonus points, especially for a 197...if only he pinned a bit better.

DC will be the most dominant wrestler this year and gets the honors hands down. reguardless of the haters. Love him or not he is the best.

Maybe he will be, but will he wrestle a full schedule? I'd be surprised if he wrestles in all of NC states scheduled matches.
