What ever happened to Sam Kline?

Sam Kline was a wrestler from West Virginia University. He placed 3rd at NCAAs at 174 in the late 90s and then continued his career at OTC in freestyle. He was doing very well as I believe he placed at Senior Nationals and had some victories abroad.

Then, I believe his spine got infected with some bacteria from a cut he sustained in practice. He got very sick and barely survived. After that he tried to come back to wrestle but eventually disappeared from OTC and competitions. Just wondering how he is doing and if his health is ok. Anyone knows?

PS He transferred to WVU after his freshman year at Rutgers.

I believe he is good, i played dogeball with him and watched him drill today, at a wrestling camp i am at

Im pretty sure he coaches at WVU and if not coaching I think he still lives in WV because he always does a clinic at Freestyle states and does a session at the Fargo trraing camp.

Sam got staph in his spine a while ago which could have been fatal, but he survived from it.

Not sure what he is doing now, but I believe that he is originally from MA so I think he is back there.

He is fine, he ran a wrestling camp at WVU this last week and he was seemed well enough to do everything and play ultimate frisbee and everything
