Well, a donor can direct their donation. If Nike doesn't want to support wrestling, then we don't need to support them. It may just be a drop in the bucket, but I don't give my money to groups who do things contrary to my beliefs.
Would it be crass to suggest applying pressure on Phil & Penny Knight and Nike Corp in the form of a boycott threat... ie, fork over some of the donation to fund the wrestling program, or wrestlers, wrestling programs and fans will no longer purchase Nike brand shoes and apparel?

The way I see it, it's kind of our job to let them know. When AD's won't listen, go to the people that make them listen......investors.
I'm sure Phil & Penny aren't the easiest to get in touch with, but there might be something we could do. Thoughts?
