"With Marty Morgan leaving the Gophers wrestling staff to train Brock Lesnar, Joe Russell, Brandon Eggum and Luke Becker will share Morgan's top assistant coaching position under head coach J Robinson. Helping out will be Cole Konrad, Jared Lawrence, Manny Rivera and Mack Reiter, all former Gophers wrestlers." Thats a good mix of lights, middles and heavies in the room. Morgan will be missed however.

I'd assumed that Eggum and Russell would obviously stay on in their permanent assistant positions, but its interesting to see Becker get that little bump up. I assume he got it over Lawrence since he's been in the room constantly and not in and out going to competitions. Nice to see Mack and Manny sticking around. |
