Wonder if this had anything to do with Bono's release/resignation.
"That site" is a BLOG........first off.

Secondly the Blog entry about Drouin and Varela was dated June 30th - and the part about Drouin was a QUOTE taken from a message that was posted ON THE CALIFORNIA WRESTLING FORUM............it did NOT originate on this BLOG......Got it? Here is where that quote came from originally:

Thirdly, I think a lot of people who are associated with various college wrestlers throw around the term "full ride" rather loosely. I wouldn't take that as cold hard fact. He MAY be getting a "full ride" with some sort of financial aid package or academic scholarship money along with some sort of partial athletic scholarship. But I sincerely doubt he is getting a "full ride" there on an athletic scholarship only.

Though I have no idea if it's true, could also be a situation where the expected loss of Jensen, Beard and Long freed up some room quickly that may have gone to waste. Doubly so considering they were hoping on Gallick returning, that's a lot of scholarship money they thought they'd be using in April that is suddenly available in June. One year commitment as well...

I'll put my money on David Taylor over Bubba . David has a great work ethic and Bubba well lets say none.

What I "got" is that your reaction to what I said is borderline Willyman. I never said it was gospel. I was just telling the people here what I read on the site you provided. Got it?

I'll put my money on Steve Fittery. Taylor is the future...Fittery is the now.

I picked Fittery to win it last year and I like him again this year too. I think he would have done better last year had he been completely healthy.

Fittery is awesome and a ton of fun to watch, but JPO totally exposed his "all out attack" style where he shoots every 5 seconds and takes too many chances. He runs into another guy like that with great position and defense in all positions he could be in trouble. But man, is he fun to watch. Ditto with Cannon, they are very similar in that regard...

Gantry is right on the money. Fittery is awesome...but he is oftentimes overaggressive, which was clearly exposed and exploited by O'Connor..he has to reel in his mad bull
rushes to some degree or it is going to happen again. O'Connor looked like a master matador in that match.

If I remember correctly, O'Connor worked him pretty good from the top once he got his legs in.

Wasn't just a matter of playing the matador.
