Sam Zylstra of Boise State is out with an injury, Morrison has taken his place in the bracket. He'll be facing Nate Everhart in round 1.

It's a tough draw, but it could be a lot worse. This is a pleasant surprise, for sure.

Gilmore gets the shaft. ACC gets overlooked once more.

Gilmore should have earned it at the ACC Tournament. If you leave it in the hands of subjectivity, don't complain when you lose.

I agree -- while I was thinking he would be next on the list for alternates, when you don't place top 4 out of 6 at the ACC, you're not really making a good case for yourself.

I don't see where Gilmore's season has been more impressive than Morrison's, anyway. I would have understood if Morrison didn't get it though. He had a baaaad Big 10 tourney.

When looking to see who the alternates might be, I was looking at the last round of the Coaches Panel rankings and RPI, and they were pretty even. Gilmore was higher on the RPI and Morrison was higher on the rankings.
