We are all agreed that your theory is crazy.
The question which divides us is
whether it is crazy enough to have a chance of being correct.
My own feeling is that it is not crazy enough.

So what is a wildcard?
A wildcard, or at-large, bid is a NCAA Championship qualifying spot given to a wrestler who did not place high enough in his conference, but who's regular season was very good and qualifies based on that. After conferences the powers that be get together and give out the remaining spots. 3-6 spots are open per weight class and can be given to anyone from any conference.
So Levi Jones will get a wildcard he has done good through the season
Most likely...plus he took 6th in Pac 10, that is going to be tough. Now if Chamberlain were to finish 4th in Pac 10's and they only take 3, he would probably get a spot since he was #6 going in to the Conference Tournament.
I got nothin'...
So is Levi Jones going or not?
I have no idea where you came up with that completely bogus comment about Levi Jones only wrestling about 15 matches but it is simply false. Levi Jones had a record of 17-3 heading into the PAC 10 tournament and he wrestled four matches at the PAC 10 tournament. So he's wrestled a total of 24 matches this season at 141 lbs. He also competed once at 149 lbs this season. So he has wrestled a total of 25 matches, so far, this season.
Also, he's ranked # 4 in the final Coaches Rankings at 141 lbs and he's also ranked # 7 in the final R. P. I. standings. So if he ISN'T selected as an at-large qualifier you will have a real "scoop".![]()

I see where Div 1 updated his record to 17-8 -he shared time with holt ? Anyway -the Pac 10 is sending 5 at 141 and he went 1-3 and cost boise the tournament by being the #1 seed and placing 6th .Had Bartelli , Chamberlain or Jones wrestled to their seed they would have won the pac 10,easily .
Oh sure, blame MY guy!
I got nothin'...
Despite his bad conference tourney, I'd think that Jones definitely will get and deserves a wildcard
