And I remember the Iowa fans that were loving Slaton taunting the Minnesota crowd nearly losing their minds when Sanders did the same thing in Carver Hawkeye last year.

    Round and round we go!

I have said here before but I honestly think that the single most exhilarating moment in sports is THE UNEXPECTED FALL. Especially in a very competitive match in front of the home crowd. In College or High School, it could revive the freakin dead!

Right. I agree. I'm just making sure we're all on the same page here. EVERYONE likes when the guy is on their team, but hates it when they are on the opponent, not just Hawkeye fans.
Jacob Schlottke---Gone too soon, and the world is a little less bright because of it. RIP, brother.

One, two, Evans is coming for you...

It was fun to see him genuinely excited. Conservatism is a political idea not an emotion.

If you don't want to see that much emotion on the mat, then don't let the guy deck you.
I agree with you, except that conservatism in politics is just one manifestation of conservatism (environmental, religious, others). We have to let wrestlers celebrate as long as it doesn't interfere too much with the process. I liked Thorn's celebration, and I found it very appropriate.

You should read ''Living Stoically '' by Marcus Aerilleus -Stoicism is a WAY of life practiced by hundreds of millions of people .

Sorry, but if Matt Mcdonough did that I would certainly make fun of him. Thorn was simply comical there.

Find me a comparable celebration from the hawks or anyone else for that matter and I'll let you know what I think.
To avoid criticism say nothing, do nothing, be nothing.
