Honestly I think Brent has really expanded his arsenal this year; he isn't relying on the High crotch as his primary offense. He has been really effective with his front headlock.

Metcalf was taken down by Mueller once and by Molinaro here, obviously. Where else was he taken down?

One thing that surprised me was how small Frank looked compared to Metcalf. I always thought Molinaro looked like a pretty good sized 149er, but he definitely seemed a bit small and physically outmatched by Brent
I would say 4 TDs in 30 matches is "purdy good" defense. Like I said, that is just about the only thing Molinaro can take away from the match besides the fact that he did challenge Metcalf @ his own game more then most wrestlers have this year, (despite the stall warnings).

Yea there has been a thread on the PSU boards about the fact that some of the PSU guys look smaller compared to their competitors. Frank did wrestle 41 last year that was a stretch for him so I thought he would look bigger. It's funny because everyone on the team knows that Frank spends more time in the weight room then anyone else.

The only way Metcalf loses another match is if he is kidnapped.

I thought Frank looked huge honestly! He's just not very tall. I think he's an average sized 49 honestly. No way he'd ever see 41 again imo.

If Frank looked HUGE what does that make Metcalf?

While Brent is a big 49 I guess I don't think of him as a huge one. I think Lance Palmer is a good bit bigger and I've seen others who are a comparable to Brents size.

That's a good call. High crotches that aren't perfectly set up are pretty counter-able on the international freestyle stage.
