Weve obviously heard both ways and numerous deadlines have come and gone with no answere either way. Everything that has been said up to this point is speculation, message board rumor that has run rampant. I'm still holding out hope until I have solid information that says he's not coming back. I don't see it happening though.
Vais chairs the review board.

If you're talking about last year's matches between the two then I'm good with your rationale on making this prediction.

If you're talking about this season which is what it sounds like to me when you say "as of late" then this really doesn't justify your case for picking Dennis over Ness very well.

Ness has been wrestling much better against common opponents this year than Dennis has.

Not sure that was our "A" team you saw on the mat at the duals. It will be closer this time. Not saying by much, but it will be closer.

If only.

Joey would be wrestling if that were the case.

They just need to come out with something and let it die.

Im as excited as everyone else about this dual, but Iowa is a better team this time around as well as Minnesota will be. You can't pick Ness over Dennis with as much momentum as Dennis has coming into the dual. Ness is a great wrestler, but Dennis is better right now, as he was last year in their meetings.

Dennis had to get a takedown with 3 seconds left and add riding time in order to beat UR Flint Ray the last time he stepped out on a mat.

Ness had two quick pins last week.

I know who it looks like is coming into the match with more momentum.

Hope they can get things figured out for him so that he gets another shot...going out getting pinned in the NCAA finals in your only shot, would suck.

But...if he does make it to Minnesota on Sunday, he better get earplugs for the whole Iowa team, because MN fans are gonna raise the roof!
Maybe you just needed a shower.
If Slaton has nine wrestling lives, 8 of them are over. My best guess is that Marion will wrestle, and qualify for Nationals at the Big Tens.
I'm also interested in the Schlatter vs. Kerr match. Gopher fans think that bonus points are guaranteed at Schlatter's new weight.
