Not sure how Pena didn't cost OSU a team point. He was getting his butt kicked all over the mat and was losing 14-2 at the time that Fisher got a defensive fall. Pena was waiting to shake hands, but was lined up on the wrong side of the line so Fisher tapped him on his back to switch sides. Which Pena started to do and then just turned around shoved Fisher as hard as he could. Fisher walked away and the ref actually had to restrain Pena for a few seconds more. Couldn't do it on the mat so maybe he figured he'd try it after the match. I guess it didn't really matter in the grand scheme of things, but still.

Also, Ryan Smith was controlling the entire match and tried a sloppy move at the end with 10 seconds left to get the loss. He didn't need to. I am not a Pac-10 fan, but that was a fun match to watch. Both schools have some talented kids.

Novachkov was up 4-0 and looking tough midway through 2nd. I got distracted for a couple minutes and then it was like 5-3. Kuben got a td and ride out to force ot.

I think it happened yesterday. It's as if it were to commemorate your 1000th post!

Good win for OSU, especially Kubec. I was hoping that Mangrum would keep it to a decision instead of a major though.
