Yoces JRob is playing games to get a better seed at Big 10's if he sits out against Esco and wrestle against McD. This is why MN sucks right now! You don't get better by ducking the #1 ranked guy! Tom Brands wouldn't allow McD to sit out against Esco and then wrestle a week later against Sanders! I guess thats what seperates the men from the boys.

They're stupid if they don't use him in a dual that they're probably going to win without much trouble in order to prepare him for a dual that they're going to desperately need him for?

If that is the case then I'm fine with them being stupid.
Sanders is a good wrestler and he needs to wrestle regardless of the team outcome! Again if he is indeed hurt that is 1 thing but if he isn't hurt thats another. I still don't think MN can beat Iowa this year even though we don't have our 197lbr.

What I'm saying is that if one has a functioning brain in their head one would have to assume that Sanders is still a little banged up or else he would have wrestled last night against Deneen.

Fair enough! I didn't see the match last week so that is why I was asking what happened to Sanders. Remember I did say my opinion only stood if he wasn't hurt. I hope to see Sanders and Esco wrestle and then Sanders and McD.

Your kidding me here right Chop? If Sanders weren't hurt you think he wouldn't have wrestled against Deneen? Good Christmas, that's not even remotely logical thinking.

What are you even talking about? Dodging Esco doesnt help his seed at all. Plus he's already lost to him this year.

Like I said earlier I was asking a simple question as to why he wasn't wrestling. JansenS replied that he was possibly hurt and wouldn't wrestle against Esco to be ready to go against McD. I wasn't saying he was ducking Deneen just asking why he wasn't wrestling last night. I disagree with the thinking you don't wrestle the #1 guy to prepare for the #4 guy. Remember I was responding to JansenS post.

Of course, but then one match is 7 days after the other and if you get another 2 weeks to heal a high ankle sprain, you take it right? He is probably sitting at #2 or #3 anyway even if he beats McD since McD already has a win over him at best so there's no pressure to wrestle this or the Iowa dual if he's not 100%.

I am starting to think that J. Rob's strategy is simply playing for Big Ten's and NCAA's. Keep everyone healthy, play with the line-up a little bit. Once he lost Deitchler he kind of moved in to "Conference Mode". Although I see the sense of it, its not very fan friendly and last I checked, the fans paid the bills.

Well why would he dodge an UR guy then if he wasnt injured?
