Ness is back, but Sanders is out. Minnesota will be forfeiting 125.

I HATE watching Prater wrestle -you know NO coach he has ever had has taught him to jump on his back to finish a double -

To be fair... Yohn isnt exactly making a great case for why he should win this match

But this is one of the worst hose jobs I've seen by a ref in a long time. At least 4 extremely questionable calls

Internet on my laptop was down for a couple of hours so unfortunately I didn't get to post results live like I wanted to, but overall I thought the Gophers looked solid.

125: Hate to see Sanders out but with another match against McDonough looming large next weekend I can see why they did this. I kind of have my doubts that we see him on Sunday against Escobedo.

133: Nice job by Ness coming out and making his return. Did what he had to do against a guy he was better than.

141: While he got the major and in the process reversed the 11-0 thrashing that he took last year at Vegas I still think that Thorn kind of let Prater dictate the pace of this match especially from the neutral position. Pace didn't wind up mattering a whole lot obviously as Prater put himself in some bad positions after taking several terrific initial shots. Thorn didn't really shoot a lot but I would guess that may have been because of how good Prater is with his funk when guys shoot in on him. While he didn't look great from neutral Thorn to his credit did look very good on top.

149: Got the win, but really other than the slick duck under inside of 5 seconds Mason did a lot of standing around. He moved his feet and had some body fakes but really didn't use his hands to move the guy at all.

157: Dustin continues to look good, Kinser will be a good test for him on Sunday. Continuously moved forward, and got his takedowns when they were there en route to picking up his major. This is basically the style that I personally expected him to come in with after his success this summer.

165: Nice win here by Cody Yohn. Just wrestled tough all around, did a really nice job picking up the backpoints a few times and then getting the necessary takedown at the end to secure the major.

174: I'll admit that I was nervous initially when Blanton came out and dominated the handfighting and got in on some nice shots during the first period. Glasser did a nice job as the match wore on in getting into a rhythm with using his head and his hands to deny Blanton the opportunity to get in deep on his shots.

184: Not much to say here. Dergo is just good, amazing to see what not having to shed an extra ten pounds can do for a guy as athletic and skilled as he is.

197: The only call here I really didn't like was the stall call when Yohn was down on the legs looking like he was trying to work a navy to get a turn. That being said though Yohn had already gotten himself hit earlier and had to know that he was risking being hit again by doing that.

285: Nice job closing the match out by Berhow, stayed aggressive and scored his points. Would have liked to see him get the takedown at the end to get the major but it is what it is.

What is the deal with Sanders? If MN sits him out JansenS against the #1 ranked guy to get prepaired for the #4 ranked guy they are stupid! If he is indeed hurt and can't go against Esco then fine but you if you are healthly you wrestle every match in my opinion!

Last Sunday Quiroga basically tried to rip his leg off and stuff it up his ass while trying to counter one of his shots.

They're stupid if they don't use him in a dual that they're probably going to win without much trouble in order to prepare him for a dual that they're going to desperately need him for?

If that is the case then I'm fine with them being stupid.
