I know its a total homer call but Mike Thorn is having a pretty stellar season at 17-3 and only losses to Jamal Parks (4-1), Kyle Dake (4-3) and Reese Humphrey (5-3). My issue with Thorn last year was his consistency. This year he seems to be over that hump and giving a good solid 7 minutes every time out on the mat.

If he gets another shot at Humphrey I think he gets him either at Big 10's or NCAA's. I wouldn't be that surprised if he gets in to the semi's at NCAA's and from there its anyone's title.

Agreed he's lookin good. It's feasable that he could get Hump given a few tries. I'm impressed w/ his tech over Schmitt who has beatin krom and drouin this year.

Thorne has great technique, a big gas tank, a motor that is always in overdrive.......and a nasty attitude!!!He's definitly in the mix for NCAA champ.

I've never been as high on Humphrey as others and I feel that 141 is among the more wide open weights. Favorite? Sure..But what does that really mean?

Thorn has definitely turned the corner this year - I still think Hump is the man to beat though.

Nah, he's not a real title threat. I mean, I guess you could consider him dark horse/outside shot type of threat for the title, but he's not a big time threat.

If he's a top four and everyone has at least two losses, he's a threat. No wonder your a lawyer without a job. When did you start picking up TROLL like tendencies?

Typical response. His only losses are to Reece Humphrey, Kyle Dake, and Jamal Parks, but those are the three best wrestlers he's faced. Looking at the D1CW Top 10, Thorn hasn't beaten ANY of them, except for his singular win over Montell Marion, who showed last night he isn't exactly the picture of consistency. That's one win over the top 10.

Comparatively, Kyle dake has 6 such wins. Humphrey had 4. Thorn hasn't shown himself to be a realistic threat to a title yet, no matter how many shots you take at my personal life.

EDIT: Disagreeing with you doesn't equal troll like tendencies, dude.
