Haven't heard much from Brown since he beat the crap out Smith's nephew 2 years ago(yes, I'm having a senior moment and can't remember hisname!)

The Minnesota v. Wisconsin dual is being replayed on BTN right now and Dustin's match was just on. Looked methodical was patient and picked up the necessary TD's to get the bonus point.
Would have liked to see him get some backs with his tilts since he was wrestling a smaller opponent than he had earlier in the year who theoretically should be easier to turn but Burke fought all the tilt attempts off.

that was Chris Brown, from ODU, that beat Mark Perry. Double the senior moment

Dumb words.
JB was not a hodge trophy "favorite" either. Varner and Metcalf bonus at much higher rate than JB.
Not that I should feed this troll but 57 was easier even with Burroughs in it. If he was looking for the easy road he would have went 57 all along. He was being a team guy and went 65. The reason he was going 65 isn't there anymore so he went to the weight he certified at.
All this being said I dont see DS winning this weight either.

Jake Kerr carries his momentum over Cyler all the way to the NCAA title?

He's gotta be the favorite at this point.
In all seriousness though I don't know who I see the favorite as, perhaps it is DS. I'm not basing DS not winning on someone being better than him it's the fact that DS will probably be in around 4 matches he can lose in at NCAAs. I think it is likely that he WILL lose one of them and not be champ.
As I said though, it's not like I'm saying oh yeah JPO is markedly better and will beat DS..it's just I see somebody knocking him off. Consistency issues typically dont translate into titles.

Dustin still has matches left this regular season against both Kinser and Sanderson.
Those should tell us quite a bit about how his conference and national tournaments may go now that he's dropped to this new weight class.

Geez Schlatter has pretty much missed the whole year...

Re: It's official -- Schlatter to 157
Schlatter will beat both Cyler and Kinser handily I think. He's too fast and strong for Cyler and he's not going to fall for a big move by Kinser. I think its a done deal for Schlatter as the Big Ten champ. Anyone want to make a good trade for Cyler?
