Esco without a lot of trouble.
Does such a good job of making his shots count and is an absolute beast on top. McD won't be able to get the momentum that he thrives on going if he's got Esco riding him on top for 2-3 minutes.
McDonough
Escobedo

If you can't take Esco down you can't beat him. McD might take him down once, but E will take him down more than once.
Agreed completely, which is also why Esco is so tough in tournament situations. He seemingly gets that riding point every time and is VERY hard to take down. So even in low scoring matches he's typically got a one point lead in the 3rd cause of riding time. The "Dubuque School of Tournament Wrestling" if you will...
dont see mcd getting anything but an escape.
Go Hawkeyes.
Although I'm very impressed with McBono this season, Angel will win decisively. I must admit I agree with Lost here.....I'm not sure he will be in the finals.
McDonough's tough on top, but Escobedo is the strongest he'll see all year. I think it will be a close match. Mcdonough 9-8
Anyone want to have a guess the as to the last time Escobedo gave up 9 points in a match during his college career?
Jacob Schlottke---Gone too soon, and the world is a little less bright because of it. RIP, brother.
One, two, Evans is coming for you...
You would be correct and in the matches where he's "given up" 8 points over the course of his career the fewest points he's put up in any of those matches is 15.
