    Default 141 and other ??????'s

    OK-
Here we are entering the Big 10 season and does anyone know who the 141 pounder for Iowa is ??
Marion -LeClere-Slaton ?? Marion just knocked off Parks -Leclere just wrestled a great match vs. Iowa State and Slaton is supposed to be THE Man .
With OSU struggling with a 157-Why not move Palmer up and see if Jameson can make 149 ?
While 133,149,165 and 184 get the most press -174 is the deepest weight in the Nation-Borschel,Manuel,Glasser ,Blanton,Perry ,Hinton ,Kellogg next to 197 that is -Beatty,Biondo,Brandvold ,Bond,Powless ,Yohn and Schoen and Brown .
After today Powless is 22-8 and Perry 17-5-Perry stuck Effner from cleveland State in 30 seconds and Cleveland State had a decent 197 and Powless stuck him in the first .
Seton Hall Pirate's computer has some VAST differences from the rankings -the next 4 weeks should be exciting -
Oh Yeah-IF Sean Clair can keep his head on straight can he finally AA ? Stuck Ashnault today and beat someone else 2-0 and lost to Gomez 4-2 .
A weird prediction ?? Ohio wins the MAC !!!

As far as I can tell, Slaton is the man if he's declared eligible. If not, marion is the guy, and he's quite capable.

Palmer is pretty short at 149, let alone 157. He's a potential finalist at 149. No reason to move up.

184 is definitely the deepest weight. Dergo, Cannon, Keddy, Pucillo, Askren, Smith, Kilgore, LeBlanc, Caputo, Ward, Patterson, Craig, Miller, Foster. All of those guys are AA level wrestlers. That's ridiculous.

I think russ meant that 74 was the deepest in b 10.

    You are right about 184...brutal.

Well, he said 174 was the deepest weight in the nation.

So he did. That is false. It's actually among the weaker weights. 2 studs then a major drop off.

    65,84,33 are very very tough.

I would definitely disagree, depending how you define deep. If you're talking decent talent, 174 isn't bad, but if you mean deep with great talent, 174 in the Big 10 has Borschel and then a big dropoff IMO. 165, 149, 133 and maybe even 141 are tougher weights in the conference.

    Borschell 20-0
    Manuel 30-2
    Glasser 21-4
    Rella 15-6
    Perry 17-5
    Zeerip 22-12
Hinton 12-5 -that is just the top 7 where most of their losses have come against one another -ALL save Hinton have been NCAA qualifiers .

Borschel will be the only AA in that group, although Glasser's been wrestling well lately.
