Default 2010 Midseason All American Predictions: All Weights Posted

They aren't quite ready yet, but they're coming.

I've got to try and find the time to break down everything that has gone down (especially over the last three weeks) with the level of detail that I expect from myself when I do these in order to make sure I have people in the places that I want.

Anyone who wants to post their own, advocate for someone, or call me an idiot who is bound to predict a Gopher or a guy on my fantasy team to finish much higher than they deserve by all means do so.

I actually feel pretty good about my 1-7 at 125 right now. I haven't looked particularly closely at records and common opponents so that could of course change.

41 and 84 are going to kill me though.

Flipping a coin will do you as much good as deliberating at 184...

You best have Notte in your AA at 125.

125 Locks to AA, there are two....Angel Escobedo & Eric Morrill. Angel can wrestle through anything and has proven it. Eric is solid, and has figured out Anthony Robles.

The next wave is: Matt McDonough, Andrew Long, Zach Sanders. Those three are also solid, but haven't faced or figured out Anthony Robles yet. Robles will get at least one of them.

The third wave is: Troy Nickerson, Anthony Robles, and James Nicholson. Troy is the best wrestler at 125, but...the NCAAs are a long & brutal tournement. I dont' think he can hold up. Robles will knock out at least one of the three in the second wave, but there are many 125lbers that have him figured out and will probably keep him from AAing. Nicholson is very good, but can't seem to beat the first or second wavers meaning it will be tough for him to AA.

The final wave is: Chris Notte, Brad Pataky, and Ben Kjar. Notte is far more likely to AA then either Pataky or Kjar, but didn't feel he belonged in the wave above this one. Pataky & Kjar will both need some help to AA, they will need a couple of the big dogs from the first two waves to fall early.

You don't think that Robles can adapt as well and AA this year? I agree that many have figured out his style and I don't know that he'll place 4th but I imagine that he'll still AA.

Don't get me wrong, I think Robles is the most dangerous wrestler at 125. They prepare all year long for Esco & T-Nick, but very difficult to prepare for Robles. You get caught under him once....and you can be cheap tilted into obscurity. He is in the "mix", (top twelve or so), He'll have to get a good draw to hit the top eight.
