Obviously. Sanders is an excellent, solid wrestler in a weight class filled with lots of them.

Sanders could finish ahead of both Long and McDonough but, he would have to avoid both guys and have an easier draw to get it done IMO.

In his match against McDonough, Sanders made a technical error (trying to hold on too long from top rather than just giving the escape up) that led to him getting reversed and giving up riding time.

In my opinion coming away from what we saw in that single match saying that the only way Sanders places above McDonough is by avoiding him or having an easy draw is a little ridiculous.

McDonough made errors as well. I guess when they meet here in a couple of weeks; that will sort things out. Sanders I'd say finishes 5th or 6th depending on his draw. I'd Esco, Nickerson, Long, McD and maybe Robles finish ahead of him.

McDonough needs to avoid Sander duck under. Which he did a good job of after giving up the 1st one. It's ridiculous to pick Sanders higher against guys has has never beaten.

Barring Snaders beating McD and also finishing 2nd at the b10's he will have a lower seed at the NCAA's. Sanders has at least 3 losses Correct?

It was ridiculous (I think grapplefan even accused me of being drunk) to pick Ness to finish higher than Hochstrasser, Kennedy, and Dennis last year as well.

    Didn't stop it from happening.

I guess Sanders better hope he just doesn't run into Andrew Long, Anthony Robles, or even Brad Pataky. Ahem. HOmer.
