That works as long as he didn't use a real estate deal to recruit, or he didn't turn a profit in some unseemly manner. Remember, this is the NCAA, which is not exactly model of fairness (Deitchler.) But it would be unlike J Rob not to consider all the aspects of whatever business venture he starts.

yeah i doubt it wa a fly by night venture. I would think J and all involved checked into it. The parents of these kids were involved since co-signing of these loans would warrant their involvement. If they had signed their scholarships before the real estate talk then what proof would the NCAA have?

I don't have any idea whether the kids got a great deal offered to them, so I have no idea if something underhanded is going on. On the other hand, it seems like you are defending him just because he coaches your favorite team, without knowing anything other than what is heard through the grapevine.

Like it or not, the NCAA runs the show, regardless of whether J is a tough old cuss that believes he has the upper hand. Robinson's ability to walk away from the program has no bearing on whether he has done anything wrong.

And yet you read an article and decide something is amiss. Some how I don't see guys like gable or robinson squirming because public opinion on a forum has taken a hit or a teleconferance from the NCAA. Defending him? Tou guys want to bury J-Rob with no allegations by the NCAA. Your Info is one article of an over zealous reporter that is expressing their own point of view
