Totally agree, I started this thread after reading some stuff over on "the guillotine" today. Lots of posters going back and forth over whether or not someone should be able to post something that is not fact. My intent wasn't to start another conversation about the lack of info coming out of J Rob's room, more just to get general opinions. Thanks.

I totally agree. The first thing I did when I walked into the sports pavillion for the match against Iowa State was get a program and look for Deitchler's name. As in any sport you want to see the best of the best competing. And if that's not going to be the case the coaches need to let the media know so the fans can make a decision of whether or not they would want to go. Picture going to a Colts game and Peyton Manning doesn't suit up. Nobody says why he isn't out there, nor if and when he'll return. You'll just have to drop 80 bucks on the next ticket and hope. I am a bigger wrestling fan than football and that's why I make that analogy. I understand there are injuries and unforseen circumstances that keep a guy out. We don't even ask for the exact reason a wrestler can't go if there are personal reasons that can't be divulged. In Minnesota this has been happening for the last couple of years and I believe the fans are getting very restless with Jay Robinson. I hope something can be worked out because I believe it to be deceiving on the coaches. Thanks for letting me voice my opinion.

J Rob has a lot on his mind right now. I'm not a Minny fan, but if I were, I'd give him a break to focus on National Duals and the season in general, and then address your communication concerns after the season.

As long as the Gopher coachs are going to stay completely silent about the program then all we can do is speculate.

    Mincy-gone
    Geiger-gone
    Disney-gone
    Mason-not wrestling
    Dietchler-not wrestling

And not a single word from the coachs about any of this.

That is pretty much their entire recruiting class from two years ago.

Deitchler is still trying to come up with the 15% down payment on a house...THEN we'll see him on the mat! ;-P
