    Default deitchler-concussions

Talked to local HS coaches today and from what I hear from them is a reoccuring concussions that kept Jake out against ISU. How accurate that is beyond me

Sounds like a load of bull. If that were the case, Robinson wouldn't have let him wrestle at Midlands - instead saving him for ISU.

    this sounds false.
To avoid criticism say nothing, do nothing, be nothing.

These coaches are way into the Minnesota wrestling scene so you could be right but the reports of him being inelgible by the NCAA is wrong

2 day meat grinder in toughest regular season tournament-Good for concussion
1 match against Andrew Sorensen-bad for concussed Jake.

    Yeah that sounds about right..

Well maybe this happened after Midlands but if you and payton have the answers about Minnesota wrestling why don't you tell us?

I talked to Jake briefly the week before the Xmas holiday and he said the doctor cleared him that day. Being that he wrestled solid at Midlands followed by what appeared to be A LOT of energy while watching yesterday's match.....I'm not putting much credence to the consussions still being an issue.

All signs (and some pretty reliable people on The Guillotine forum) point towards the waiting game on the NCAA clearing him. The Mason thing is getting me a little more nervous given the buzz.

Guys were asking for answers on here and since the coaches where I live have a relationship with the minnesota staff because of a certain minnesota wrestler who was recruited by them is a former student of their own. I asked them if they had any info and that is what they had heard. Sorry to offend anybody as i was trying to be helpful. this clown out in virginia wants to argue with me about like I said it was definate. Maybe they are way off as I have no clue in the matter

Not a problem, we're all friends here.....most of the time, even with Iowa fans
