Ive seen a few wrestlers at my school go on to wrestle at National Collegient Wrestling Association schools. What is this? Can anyone no matter what talent go on to wrestle there. I know one kid wrestled JV all four years, and now he is at an NCWA school. THanks

Isn't this club wrestling for schools that don't have NCAA wrestling teams? They have a tourney at the end of the year, too.
God Bless these kids for continuing to find ways to include wrestling in their lives.

Pretty sure that's right. Douglas College (Canada) competes in the NWCA... have had some pretty talented guys win the NWCA's, including John Pineda and Olympian Travis Cross.

The list all the teams there as well.

Several of which are SEC schools, (Alabama & Texas have NCWA wrestling teams.)

I would love to see the SEC get NCAA wrestling teams back as it would be fun to give them some smack payback from the B10 schools!

Some schools with varsity teams have NWCA club teams, too. I know tOSU does, at least.

Yep. This is the Club Wresting Association. I advised a team at Northeastern when they started their club and sent guys to participate in the NWCA championship. Most of these guys are financing their own participation or doing some type of fundraising. NWCA also has a women's wrestling club division. God Bless these women and men for continuing to expend their time, energy and money to continue to participate in wrestling.
