By your own predictions, IF Askren pins, EITHER a Marable win or a Henderson win and Mizzou wins.

So saying the #14 vs #12 and #16 vs #13 are tossups is extremely optimistic? Don't let the facts get in the way of your opinion...

Mellmer will probably lose badly to Wright but thats a very winnable match for Grygelko, and if Deitchler gets his eligibility figured out he is a significant favorite.

Its a definite possibility that Minny sits some starters and has a disappointing National duals like they did two years ago. But there is a reason they are seeded and Missouri isn't
    Gold is an idiot.

Is TDR/Live Sports Video doing video coverage this year?

As a Mizzou fan, the upset could happen. But everything would have to go right for Mizzou and everything has to go wrong for Minny. Doesn't mean I won't be rooting for it though.

Yep, Live Sports Video. It costs $5 for both days. Pretty much of a bargain if you ask me!

Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Arizona State Sun Devils

125: #3 Anthony Robles MAJ Nikko Triggas (0-4)
Robles is, for obvious reasons, an extremely unique wrestler. He will simply demolish a wrestler--even a very very good one--who does not know how to handle his strength, leverage, tilts, and low level. I don't think Triggas, who has shown great deficiency from neutral, will be able to handle Robles, and it could get out of control. However, if Triggas gets going on top he has shown that he can do as much damage from that position as just about anyone. I would say that there is an 80% chance Robles puts up bonus, 10% chance he wins by decision, 9% chance Triggas wins by pin, and 1% chance Triggas wins without getting a pin.

133: Ian Paddock DEC Ben Ashmore (3-4)
Since he arrived in Columbus, Tom Ryan has been adament to put his best possible team on the mat every year. While I respect this and even find it admirable, it has frustrated me in the instances of two true freshmen whom I would have liked to see redshirt. The first was Colt Sponseller, and the second is Ian Paddock. Paddock has really impressed me as a true frosh. When I watched him against Matt Fisk, they were very even for the first 2/3 of the match, but Paddock seemed to get beat up in the 3rd period and ended up losing 8-3. I have heard similar accounts of some of his other matches as well. His other losses are 1-point decisions to Ekstrom and Napier and a 6-3 loss to a very tough Dan Mitcheff. He has majored Edinboro's Kyle Fluke twice and owns a pair of dominant quality wins over Army's Jordan Thome. I admit I haven't watched Ashmore wrestle, but I like Paddock a lot and am betting that he used the last month to toughen up and will continue to wrestle everyone well this weekend. Had he redshirted, I think he would have been a very strong AA candidate as a freshman next year.

    141: #1 Reece Humphrey DEC #17 Chris Drouin (6-4)
What is wrong with Chris Drouin? He has some embarrassing losses this year after a very strong AA campaign last year. Given how Drouin has been wrestling lately, I'm predicting Humphrey by 6-10, but if he's back to form, it could be a pretty close match.

149: #3 Lance Palmer MAJ Vincente Varela (10-4)
This seems like the kind of match that Lance typically wins by a very methodical, dominant 6-0, 7-0 score and falls just short of the major. However, Lance has put up bonus in his last 4 matches, and I'm thinking (hoping) he continues that in these duals.

157: Sean Nemec MAJ Michael Swigart (14-4)
Not much to say here. Hopefully we will get to see Tony Jameson some this weekend. Not necessarily because he's better (I really don't know who's better and am comfortable letting the coaches decide that), but because he always puts on a show and is a lot of fun to watch.

165: #7 Colt Sponseller MAJ Kyle DeBerry (18-4)
Could be worse. Expect a takedown clinic.

174: #19 Dave Rella DEC Eric Starks (21-4)
This is one of those matches that Rella should absolutely win, yet sometimes finds a way to lose. However, he's coming off a good weekend of beating Bagna Tovuujav and Ryan Patrovich, so I'm hoping I can count on him now.

184: Mike Pucillo PIN Jake Mereditch (27-4)
My gut tells me Pucillo will come out of winter break back to his old self, but he didn't wrestle this last weekend, so maybe his problems linger. Either way, he should win this match handily.

197: Cody Magrum DEC Anthony Pike (30-4)
I kind of felt like giving this one to ASU so I would look like less of a homer, but I just don't think it's going to happen.

285: Eric Nye DEC Corey Morrison (30-7)
CoMo is very capable of winning this. In fact I almost expect him to. I have to give ASU something, though.

Overall: Buckeyes 30, Sun Devils 7
I could be wrong, but I really don't see ASU winning more than 2 matches unless tOSU puts some backups in. I would love to hear what people think about this.

Are you sure? Every time I've thought I was gonna get to listen to him so far this season it hasn't happened.

Last year it was really choppy for me, but it was free so no big deal. Not all the mats, but seemingly the ones I wanted to watch. I hope since I'm spending money this year the quality will improve.
