If it doesn't really bother him then I'd be more worried about him as a coach... I bet it kills him that he only had one champ.

I hope you are not insinuating that Bubba "caught" DT in that cradle. DT thought he could do his normal scramble routine without trouble but found out otherwise. Simple mistake by DT and I bet he would say the same thing.

You Iowa fans are a real joke you are so busy trying to tear apart Penn States championship that you fail to look at yourselfs. McD got treated like a bitch by Robles and the rest the rest of the team failed to impress anyone. Your coaching staff acted like complete asses and were the joke of the championships. I have never heard Cael badmouth Bubba and don't think he handled the Bubba wrong in any way. Bubba beat DT and should be very proud of his win but he dug his own hole at PSU.

Of course it bothers him, but I think that he's probably mature enough to know these things happen (and you learn from them). And I think winning the national championship is most likely a much higher priority than the result in any one particular weight class - particularly in the finals. So I think he's probably not failing to see the forest for the trees.

I'm a very strong PSU fan and I think we can enjoy this year's NCAA's without knocking anybody else. If others knock us that's their problem. But sometimes we can read knocks into things that aren't. At any rate this was our year. 2011-2012 will be a new one and it should be interesting!

Watch his interview after the finals he almost couldn't even talk. I think you're under-estimating how much he cares about the individuals on his team.. Sure, the NCAA team title makes him look good but he's heavily invested in the personal success of his top guys.

Maybe I was wrong to make remarks about the Iowa wrestlers but I am tired of people with little or no knowledge of the facts about Cael and Bubba passing off bulls*** just so they can bash Cael.

Obviously happy about the team championship but torn about Taylor, Frank, Alton Ruth not achieving their goals. You can see he has a heart but just doesn't wear it on his sleeve. For a usually even-keeled guy that was being emotional for Cael. SEE pix of him during QW's semis.
