What kind of injury did Nickerson suffer and how was Esco doing in the match when Troy had to forfeit?

I'll bet this is it for him. He can't keep damaging that shoulder or it'll end up mangled. He's not going to enjoy it later on in life as it is, if he keeps torquing it, it'll interfere with quality of life, especially for a guy that wants to be a surgeon.

it looked pretty ugly when it popped out, but they popped it right back in and Troy was walking around shortly afterwards with ice on it.

Well, he might be able to give it a go for this season. Unfortunately, that shoulder is going to have an even bigger bulls-eye on it now, not that it wasn't big before.

I've heard this kid scream quite a few times now with that shoulder, I know he competes hard, but enough might be enough.

Cornell twittered that if it were NCAAs, he would have continued, but no reason to risk anything this early in the season...
